This is a crazy time to be working in education…
Over the past few months we’ve appreciated the agility, creativity, and flexibility of educators who have worked tirelessly to craft some sort of learning for students in spite of the challenges of doing it all remotely!
But we weren’t surprised because educators are just that talented and innovative.
However, these past few months have also been stressful for all of us and as we look ahead to the next school year we are all filled with many questions… So much seems so uncertain.
On top of that, some educators may be facing furloughs (or have already lost their jobs) or their spouse may have already been laid-off or furloughed.
As a result, many of us are looking for every opportunity to earn some extra income, or — based on a recent poll that found that 1 in 5 teachers are considering not returning to the classroom — may even be looking for an alternative to going back into a physical classroom because of health concerns. (Even more educators feel that schools should remain closed in Fall 2020!)
In fact, you may be one of these 20% of teachers who are seeking some alternative to in-person teaching for the 2020-2021 school year.
You are not alone!
Right now you and so many educators like yourself… all of us in fact… could use some good news.
We would love to tell you that the pandemic is over and that everything is safe.
